I'm planning on buying a desktop as I'm too scared to build it myself (please don't post if your going to say to build it myself). I plan on running GTA 5, Fallout 4, Black Ops 3 and CS:GO with high settings and decent frame rate. My budget is around 700$. I'm saving 100$ from my budget to buy a monitor. If a laptop comes out cheaper since it has a screen and keyboard included please post the laptop but desktop is more preferable thanks.

Then compare a GTX 960M to a 960 they are not even close desktop graphics cards, a 980M is similar in performance to a R9 380 or GTX 960.

Honestly, if you were to build a gaming desktop for your self then $700 could give you a decent build that would run most of today's games on ultra settings and the real intensive ones on medium. However, you will not get a decent enough pre- built computer for $700.. Pre built desktops are usually more expensive and built with low quality parts such as Power supply that you usually have to change quickly.... For $700, a gaming laptop would be a better choice as you will get a gaming laptop at that price that will play games better than a $700 pre- built desktop..
For example, any of those two laptops listed below, would out perform a pre-built desktop for the same price...
1.ASUS K501UX 15-inch Gaming Laptop
2.Dell Inspiron i7559-763BLK
They are a little more than $700- but, the money you are going to use to but a monitor as well as keyboard and mouse, you could throw it all a any of these decent laptops.

Though I prefer a desktop as it can be upgraded to run newer games that come out. Also, out of iBuyPower and CyberPowerPC which has better warrenty support and which is cheaper.
