Im looking at a new compact atx case, reason its so compact is that it lacks optical drive cages. Now the only real reason ive ever had to use it is to install and reinstall windows.
Could this be done via an external drive? I.e. can the bios boot from an external optical drive? I know they can boot from things like usb sticks.
Would just like to be sure, then i can just buy an external optical drive whenever i need it.
