ECC or faster non ECC

hello i just bought a Proliant server and it come with 4GB 1600 mhz ecc ram but i got 16GB corsair vengence 1866 mhz so my question is what are the cons be switching to the corsair for me

my server is only to run NAS, WDS with no raid atm. but later i will run 5xWD purple in raid 5 its only for home use and not that important data so i dont need to hear all the raid 5 cons i iknow them but capacity vs economy is the reason

atm. i got some cheap disk's in it and a SSD system disk

Unless you do scientific computing or need to run a high-availability machine, I don't think you need to stick with the ECC RAM unless it's all that your server support. Moreover, I think it's mostly enterprise-grade NAS that come with ECC RAM, most SMB models use regular RAM.
