How will upgrading my graphics card go with my current system?

I am considering upgrading my graphics card when I get the money. Currently I have an intel i7 6700 quad core, 16 gigs of ram, GTX960 120 gig SSD as the C drive, and then a 1tb HDD for my main storage. I want to know if anything would bottle neck if I went with a 980, or a 980ti. I can't give my exact power supply but I know I will need to upgrade that. It's whatever came with the computer.

Another thing to note, I bought this prebuilt.

My main question is whether I would need to upgrade anything and if anything would bottleneck.

The only thing that would potentially be a problem would be the PSU. None of your other components would bottleneck a 980 Ti. My build is pretty much exactly what you're referring to.

If you can find out what PSU it is I can probably tell you more.

you have a new chipset and plenty of headroom. You will need to check the power supply because the 980 graphics cards must have at least a 600watt power supply and most would recommend 850 and up if you do any overclocking and/or have a bunch of drives connected.
A 980 puts out more heat also so make sure your air-flow is good

I know for sure the power supply would need to be upgraded. I believe it's no more than a 500 watt. But I don't know for certain. It's some shitty one that came with the computer. I took a look and it said the max wattage or something along those lines is 500.
On that note, what would be a decent power supply to go to?

One more thing. I hope I didn't cause any confusion. My processor, is the 6700 at 3.4Ghz not the 6700k.
I feel like I have decent airflow, but I don't really know for sure as if you couldn't tell already, I'm new to PC gaming and building.

I have a Corsair HX850 Professional in one and in my Gamer a EVGA SuperNova 1000w, but there are many good power supplies out there, you can get modular ones where you only plug in the power cables you need. Since you have a stock power supply, it should tidy things up by removing extra air blocking power cables...

Then there is always the possibility a power supply won't fit, if your pre-made used a proprietary design or what type of case is used...
