50% Memory problem

I'm guessing that's the 64 bit version? When you say it only shows 8 GB, do you mean that there is 50 percent usage of your installed RAM, that only 8 GB shows up, or that only 8 GB's of 16 is a available? What does CPU-Z say?

When you first boot up, I would expect your memory usage to go up as delayed start up and other background processes begin to run. You may have Windows Update and various programs searching for or downloading updates. If you monitor your usage, does it level off or go down after awhile? You might run a few malware scans, limit what programs load at startup and check the task scheduler for things you don't need.
It goes down only for like 2% and then it goes back up...

I compared your running processes to mine. You have about 3 times as many, so I don't think your memory usage is out of line. You can disable any programs you use infrequently to load at startup. Are you having some sort of problem because of the memory usage?
