I'm trying to build a gaming computer for under $1400. Is there anything I should be aware of in these parts?

Hi, this is my first build and I'm scared to get something that isn't compatible or something that is bad. I was wondering if someone could look this list over and see what they think about my build. I want something that can decently game that isn't an extremely expensive. Is there anything I should be aware of? Is anything not compatible? Will I run into any problems? Here is my build:

Thank you for your time.

What you've suggested would make a reasonable gaming PC but an i5-6600k is MUCH better than the FX-8350 in games. 8GB is also more than enough as well. Think you could even afford a GTX 980Ti as well if you're willing to spend the whole budget:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($249.99 @ SuperBiiz)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.44 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Asus Z170 PRO GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($157.88 @ OutletPC)
Memory: G.Skill NT Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 Memory ($33.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Crucial BX200 480GB 2.5"...
