Let me list the parts:
storm scout 2 case
h100i
(2) 120mm gpu hybrid kits - 980ti's
2 case fans.
current setup:
h100i on top as exhaust
(1) gpu rad in read as exhaust
other gpu hybrid not installed yet (but will most likely go up front with some dremel work)
(1) case fan on side panel - intake
(2) case fans up front - intake
I know you want positive airflow in a case. makes sense when the rads are used as exhaust. but i was thinking of making both GPU rads intakes. and leaving the 2 left over case fans as intake as well. this is definitely give positive air flow. the 2 case intakes i will probably leave on the slowest power setting. just there to compensate for the warm gpu air that will now be in my case and making its way through my h100i.
BUT, will this cause the gpu rad fans to work harder, since they will be forcing air into a "positive pressured" case?
with a case that used rads as intake, does positive airflow no longer make sense? should i just keep with anything mounted in front/side is intake, anything in back/top is exhaust?
any recommendations?
