Computer Freezing after upgrading, ?

I purchased an AMD FX 8350 8-core processor to replace my 4300, and an Asus Geforce GTX 950 2GB to replace a Radeon HD 5670, and upgraded 8 gb of RAM to 16 gb (G Skill Rawjaws X). My first issue was the computer would sometimes turn on, but would always ultimately lead to half of my motherboard working (Asus M5A97 R2.0). I solved this by replacing the Power Supply yesterday, I went from a Corsair CX500 to a Corsair CX750M which works wonderfully.
My newfound problem is that my computer is freezing when it attempts anything more than basic web browsing (such as Video, Gaming) so I started monitoring CPU temperature and it quickly climbs to 46-52C and I think that's the cause of my freezing. I removed the Stock heatsink and cleaned then reapplied Arctic Silver compound thermal paste and Ive basically yielded the same results. I can't imagine I should HAVE to buy a new cpu fan but I already did (arriving 4-7 days,Hyper 212 EVO) and I'm hoping that resolves my newest issue. Regardless, Can someone please enlighten me and/or guide me in the direction to resolve this MAJOR issue?

[all old software removed]

Have you made sure that you have the correct drivers installed and completely removed the other drivers from your previous hardware. Try that and then give it a go

It's freezing at 41C... So maybe it isn't the temp. I removed all old hardware and I'm basically waiting for it to freeze at this point to see if that was the problem, thank you. I'm going to check this RAM too...

I downloaded an uninstall utility from AMD and ensured everything was properly removed. To my surprise, there was still evidence of the previous driver left behind...after a reboot, I haven't exceeded 42C with the AMD 8350 and haven't had a single freeze running for more than 8 hours consecutively. Thank you, you have no idea how much you helped my headache.

I ordered an external hard drive yesterday, I plan to load everything of importance on to it then wipe the computer entirely...I'll let you know the outcome. Thank you.
