I have a few questions about my Crossfire Graphics cards. Currently I have 2 AMD 7870's plugged into my computer right now. I had a 7850 previously but I went out and got 2 AMD 7870's and had my brother help me plug them into my PSU. So recently I haven't really seen a Huge boost in performance.. I also realised that while there is gpu load on my main card, the second card is idle and the fans aren't actually running. I was told that that is completely normal until a high enough load is placed on the main one, that the second card will start up. My main question is, am I really getting the power of 2 cards or only 1?

Solution

The division is in beta, as far as I know AMD doesn't have any crossfire drivers for that game. Try another.

Yeah, I'm currently running The Division. My second card isn't having any gpu load put on it. I can confirm that I am indeed using Crossfire in my AMD Catalyst control panel.

I have another question. I'm using a Program called "Speccy" to see my specs, and under the Graphics section I see both my Graphics cards, but under those it says "Disabled".. but in my AMD Control Panel I have "Enable AMD Crossfire" enabled. Settings applied and everything, is something wrong ?
