I bought a new laptop and I'd like to boot it off of my old SSD with my data on it. What steps should I take?

So pretty much in the title, I have a new laptop that has my 120GB SSD in it, but that seems to be the default drive for installations and whatnot. It is about 98% full at the moment. I wish to use this SSD as a boot drive and use the HDD as my main drive. I'm running windows 10. Should I just copy everything from my SSD over to the HDD?

Solution
OK here we say Boot = Main. So really you want to say Boot and Data Drive(s).

By default, every Dick and Harriet wants to install things on your Boot drive UNLESS you specifically tell them otherwise. If they are Apps, am afraid you have to un-install from Boot, then re-install on the Data(s). If they are PLAIN data, from the most part should be able to move them, cut&paste.
