I'm not sure if this is the right section for this, but here it goes anyways.
Today, I was trying to clear up some space on a 1TB drive I have installed that had approximately 100gb free by moving a portion of my Steam library onto a second 1TB drive. The problem is, the files I copied became severely larger after I moved them. I just used a simple move command in Windows to transfer the 101gb (approx) from one to the other, but after the transfer, the same files are now 259gb(!) on my other drive, an increase of about 156% or approximately 2.5 times the size. What's going on here? I know there was nothing else in the folder already because I had to create the "common" folder before I initiated the transfer.
