GPU Usage drop consistently

Hi guys, while playing some MMORPGs, I noticed fps drops and found out that it's related to my GPU usage, and maybe CPU usage too.


This is when I'm playing Black Desert.

I have no clue what is causing the drops. Does anyone have any idea what's going on?

Specs:
i5 2500k @ 4.4Ghz
GTX 770
8GB Ram DDR3
Windows 7 64bit

go to nvidia control panel and make sure power management is set to prefer maximum performance. if that doesn't work try reinstalling the drivers.

EDIT: also if your on a amd card using the latest crimson drivers then you can try clockblocker(never used it but ive heard it suggested before for similar issues) and give that a try, or rollback your drivers a version and see if that fixes it(i recommend this over clockblocker).

The same happened to me at Blade n Soul. FPS drops as CPU tasking went crazy. Like 80-90% performance on CPU crazy, while only a mere 60% on GPU. It happens often when my screen happens to be a lot of player doing something. Usually on towns or raid.
