Loud graphics card

I have recently brought a gigabyte gvn960oc-4gb graphics card and the fan noise keeps going from very loud to quiet all the time when playing games.
Is there anything I can do to stop this ?

If you're certain the loud noise actually came from GPU fan and won't mind tinkering a bit, try applying a drop or two of oil lubricant. The same oil you use on car engine. Make sure you drop the oil directly at the fan rotor. Drop it by using syringe.

Do that method if you also certain there are nothing else you could do by software wise.
