What is the best "bang for the buck" 6-core intel cpu?

Why is this or that the best? What should I look out for? And yes, 6-core, I'm a poweruser and I believe my 980Ti is bottlenecked by my current cpu(i5-4670K). I only get 50 fps in wow on ultra, and I should have more.

You have 2 choices, 4770k/4790k (4790k will need BIOS update). But these are 4 core with hyperthreading so give 8 threads.

Otherwise you are looking at a huge upgrade to new X99 motherboard, 5820k and DDR4 which is a true 6 core with hypertheading. You really want to be sure it's worth it, try and find some benchmarks. I don't think the cost is worth it

overclock the cpu

gpu wise it doesnt take much, but it is very cpu bound especially in raids

Task Manager says my cpu is at 4.68GHz
