AMD Radeon HD 5700 upgrade options

Hi Everyone. I have a AMD Radeon 5700 Series graphics card with a AMD Phenom II 955 processor, 12 GB of Ram, motherboard is ASUS M4A785TD-M EVO. I would like to upgrade something so I can play some of the new games out and record video at the same time for youtube. Any opinions on what I can upgrade? I am assuming the graphics card... I would obviously like to spend as little as possible but max is $100.

An SSD is a luxury these days, especially if you're tight on budget.
And yes maybe it's time to save up, if you're dead set on AMD maybe ZEN architecture will catch your eye
What does an SSD do? basically faster load times, but it doesn't help with the rendering or processing at all, that's a CPU/RAM/GPU team task

EDIT= Also, by building a new PC, you can get a better Power supply....You, like myself, were deluded by thinking we were buying a quality unit by going with corsair, but they are terrible units, tier 4 out of 5 tiers

I agree with the answers, running software to record gaming is taxing on the CPU, you'd have to start from scratch. I tried with a X6 1090t black, and a 4gb 270x, and I wasn't satisfied with the end result.

Power Supply is CX600M Corsair.

Since $100 won't work would? Would it be smarter to just save up and build a whole new computer? I built this one 5 years ago, maybe it is time for a new one?

I do not have an SSD. would that make a difference?
