I didn't know if I should put this post under GPU or Motherboard
Well today I got all my pc parts, put them all together (took a longgg time). My DVD drive, HDD and processor all work. I turned the PC on, it booted up the MSI starting screen (I pressed Delete to get to the set up menu) I clicked on Board map to see if everything was plugged in and functioning, only to find out that my PCI slot with my GPU in it said that it was empty. I took the case off and found that the GPU was powered on (the fans were whirring round). Is this an issue with my MOBO or GPU? or is it just an interface bug and it is actually recognised.

No you can't, the drivers are so the OS can configure and use them properly.

I cant really help much with BIOS, as mine does not have the option to see PCIe devices.
Have you tried putting the GPU in a different PCIe slot?
