Hi guys,
So I have a dual monitor setup, my primary monitor is connected to my computer via a HDMI cable and my secondary through a VGA cable. I also have a pair of speakers plugged into the generic audio slot. Audio is transmitted to my speakers just fine but the on-board speakers on my primary monitor do not seem to work.
I have tried unplugging my speakers and turning up the volume to maximum on my monitor. I also tried updating my graphic card (GTX 960) drivers and downloading the Nvidia HD audio driver, none of which have seemed to have worked. I've used two HDMI cables (both capable of audio transmission), but again no results. Been scouring internet forums for similar problems but haven't found a fix yet. HELP!
