Guys I installed a 250 gb samsung 850 evo and samsung magician showed I had written 0.03TB and today after doing crystal disk mark benchmark it shows 0.05 TB written.

Guys is it possible for a benchmarking tool to write 0.02TB and if I dont do benchmark any more will the TBW increase slowly or will it increase in the same way as 0.02TB per day?

Solution
It's possible I suppose, but it's also likely to be Windows doing things in the background. My SSDs do this as well if I watch closely in Magician software. Even without running benchmarks or software installs, the number will climb for me. However, it's really nothing to be concerned about. I read an article awhile back that showed drives still going after writing 1000TB. http://techreport.com/review/27909/the-ssd-endurance-experiment-theyre-all-dead

It's pretty much impossible for a home user to wear out a good SSD.

I've had my Samsung 850 Pro for about two years or so and I'm just over 17TB, and apparently I can likely get over 200TB before errors (statistically).

So that's maybe 25 years of usage or more of above average usage.
