So currently I have an FX-8350. This summer I plan on upgrading and getting an Intel. I recognized that the i7-6770k is very expensive compared to the i5-6600k. Which one should I get??

What I do:
Play 3D Games(ex. Minecraft)
Record and Live Stream
Video Edit(ex. AfterFX)
2D and 3D still Graphics

Solution
For most games there's minimal benefit, however it's likely you'd see a difference (at times) doing video editing.

Whether it's "worth it" is largely up to you.

The i7-4790K is pretty similar to the i7-6700K. At stock the i7-4790K is about the same but it's overclocked already to 4.4GHz. I personally would just leave it there.

*anyway, the i7-6700K is about 40% faster than the i5-6600K when you can use all if the threads. So that's only part of the time in video editing, and most of the time in programs like Handbrake (strict video conversion).

So overall, some tasks might complete 20% faster on the i7 but it's going to vary a LOT.
