ASUS GL771JM 17-Inch

Windows 10 64-bit (I just did the most recent update on 01-11-2016) CPU: Intel i7-4710HQ @ 2.50GHz RAM: 12 GB HD: 931 GB Hitachi HGST HTS721010A9E630 (SATA)
NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 860m
I'm running Webroot SecureAnywhere as my AV and that's about it.

I've been getting cpu spikes whenever I do practically anything on my computer.
Ive done many adware cleans, used malware bytes, antivirus, etc.
I still get the CPU spikes.

I did notice however, that I opened Real Temp GT and opened a game called Starcraft 2.
In about 5 minutes, Real Temp GT had to LOG 3 of my CPU's, which means it got too hot and had to log it.
I'm beginning to suspect that my CPU spikes are coming from these high temperatures.
On the side of my computer, there is like an "exhaust" where the fan blows out instead of below the laptop. When I was running Starcraft 2, i placed my hand near where the fan blows and it was pretty hot to where it was almost burning my hand.

If any of you have any idea on what's causing my computer to heat up so fast and so much, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
