hey, it depends to your graphic cards also. but im afraid that RAM would probably cause you stutters everywhere. i had the experience playing bf3 with 2gb ram and it wasnt too delightful.

i might be wrong. so if you wanna try, go ahead. cant promise anything

Please describe your entire build, especially the model of the i3. BF3 is not such a power hungry game anymore, although 4gb of ram should be minimum. Your Graphics card plays the most important role, please let me know the exact card. Also what resolution are you planning on playing at?
