First of all I would like to say hello, this is my first thread on this forum so take it easy on me .
Now lets cut to the chase. So I just finished assembling my new PC:
CPU: Intel i5 6400 Skylake
GPU: ASUS r9 380 2GB strix
MOBO: Asrock H110m-itx/ac
RAM: 8 GB Zepellin DDR4
HDD: Seagate 1TB Barracuda
PSU: Zalman 600w
I get no signal on power on, no POST. I know there are a lot of these kind of threads and I read them all. I tried everything (even the step by step tutorial someone posted here).I tried a different PSU aswell and same result. I suspect on the RAM as its not on the compatibility list found on Asrocks site. My question is: If I get a beep when I take the RAM out does that mean the mobo is ok? I ordered a new RAM that is found on the mentioned list, and its on its way. I just want to make sure that even though it wont work with the new RAM, that the mobo is ok, so it would lead to a faulty CPU. So if anyone can confirm this fact, I would be deeply thankful.
