Hello Everyone,

I was just wondering what CPU I can get to upgrade to that is the cheapest for max 1080p gaming to go with my GTX 970 that might not cause bottlenecks. I also know the new Intel Skylake processors allow DDR4 RAM too, which I'm sure is much faster. Don't want to bottle neck either. I've never had an AMD build but I know they are good budget CPUs, which I'm looking for. Anyway, if anyone can help me out with some suggestions, that'd be great!

What is your budget?
A good choice is a 4th gen i5, they have great performance and are priced pretty well. At the high end is the i5 4690k, with a decent motherboard. It offers great performance and is overclockable. Or you could get something like the i5 4460, still great performance with no overclocking, but Can be paired with a cheap motherboard.

I have a i5 3570k and asrock z77 extreme 4 mobo with 16 gigs of 1600 GSkill Ram...

My computer keeps getting caught up on stuff, like freezing, and I've tried everything to fix it... so I was just going to get a new mobo/cpu/ram combo. I suggested the new Skylake processors, cause well, they have that DDR4 RAM.
