I have a 660ti, playing medium load games it seems not to have that much of a problem, but it still will die probably every other day or so (but the game will crash about once every hour). Playing a maximum load game it just dies after about 5 minutes. My power supply is a 430W EVGA, but it only has 1 PCI-e connecter; I use a SATA to PCI-e adapter to make it work.

Can't really thing of what other information is needed but I'm ready to give if requested.

You need to upgrade the PSU , the 430w used with an adapter can't supply enough reliable power.

Quality is poor to begin with an adding an adapter puts it under additional stress it can't handle.

Get a decent 550w with the proper connections.
