Is Corsair VS550 PSU enough for R9 390/GTX 970?

I'm going to buy a new graphics card in a few months, and I've been considering the R9 390 or a GTX 970.

I'm however worried that my PSU (Corsair VS550) won't cut it. Will it run a R9 390, if not, what about a GTX 970? I've been using an AMD FX-6300 and GTX 750 Ti (factory OC by MSI). I don't really want to get a new PSU because a decent 650W one in my country (Estonia) costs 100€ and that's not really in my budget..

So, will the Corsair VS550 be able to run a R9 390 or a GTX 970? Should I get one of those, or wait a few months to save up for a PSU as well? Thanks for the help.

it will run a 970 but probable not a 390. the 970 uses a bit more than half the power of the 390 and easily runs on 550w. the 390 would want a bit more power from a better quality psu. i'd go with a 970 if you don't want to upgrade the psu as well.
