Long story short:
I am an absolute novice in the PC Gaming world. I was giving a HP Pavillion zd5000 laptop.
I use this laptop for literally nothing else besides playing CIV IV.
The problem: The game begins to lag severally when several nations begin to build and move large amounts of units. I have a small budget but I just want to be able to play Civ smoothly enough to make it enjoyable. What do I need to do to achieve this beside spending hundreds on a true gaming computer.
