Solution
A 6700k is pointless on an H170 motherboard, you need a Z170 board in order to overclock. The 6700k is also badly overpriced right now, and does not come with a CPU cooler, so that's something extra you'd have to buy. If you want a Skylake i7, you would probably be better off just getting the regular 6700 if you want to stick with the H170 motherboard, the regular 6700 isn't priced as badly as the 6700k and does include a stock cooler. If you need more than 4 cores and 4 threads and also want overclocking, you might as well grab an X99 board and an i7 5820k, that's how badly overpriced the 6700k is.
