Update - Problem Solved :) Now all HDDs are performing at top speed. "Compress this drive to save disk space" was checked on drive properties. I have unchecked it and all the drives are working at full speed :)

I'm using two WD Caviar Blue 1TB and both are behaving almost same :( In benchmark they are superman ! but in "real world" operation they are snails !
This is CrystalDiskMark result (I also ran HD Tune Pro which returned almost same result) -

Now coming to "Real world" operation :

Example 2 -

Example 3 -

Now can you tell me the reason behind this problem ?? I'm have tried everything, from formatting them to changing SATA cables... But still they are slow as hell in real operations but not in benchmark. This drives are original as I was able to register them on WD website. Also is it a result of using too many Hard disk ? I mean I'm using Samsung 850 EVO 120GB | Samsung 850 PRO 512GB | WD Caviar Blue 500GB | And This Two WD 1TB Caviar Blue HDDs.. But please don't think I copy data to those drives when other drives are also busy, but I tried to copy data to those drives with other drives disconnected... Kindly help me :(

Hey there again, vikbot!

This S.M.A.R.T. attribute indicates that you have one bad sector. I'd recommend you do a backup of the data on that WD Blue HDD somewhere else and use the WRITE ZEROS (low- level format) feature from the Data LifeGuard Diagnostic Utility. This will completely erase everything on the HDD by writing zeros to the entire drive and getting back to its default condition. Meaning that you'd have to initialize it again, and then partition & format it through Disk Management.

After doing this, I'd advise you to run the Quick and Extended tests again and see if the SMART data is showing better results this time around.

If you need additional assistance with this, I'd strongly...
I'm sorry to hear about your performance issues with the WD Blue HDDs, @vikbot! :(
First, I'd suggest you reset BIOS and see if that will help with the transfer rate speeds. This would get your BIOS settings back to factory defaults, so you'd need to reconfigure them afterwards. If that doesn't help, you should check the SATA controller & chipset drivers for your motherboard and make sure you have updated them from the manufacturer's official website. While there, I'd also search for any BIOS updates available for your model. Be careful with the BIOS update, though, it's a pretty delicate procedure that must not be interrupted.

I'd also recommend you test the WD Blue HDDs' health and SMART status by running the QUICK and EXTENDED tests from the Data LifeGuard Diagnostics for Windows.

Keep us posted & Good luck!

1. SATA 3
2. Gigabyte GA-Z97M-D3H
3. Sometime 5GB and sometime 50GB.... Depends.

I keep reseting BIOS by removing CMOS battery because I often because of Hackintosh....
I have tried different SATA cable but still no luck :(
Updated chipset driver (Intel INF) after you notified me.... But still no luck :( Same low copy speed.
And ran that "Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for Windows" 3 days ago to see if there was any problem but the drive passed the test without a single problem.

Tried to copy files in two different situation -
1. Hard disk is empty
2. Hard disk is partly filled.
And then also same result.
Yes I'm copying from drive e which is a external hard disk and has 70 - 85 mb average read speed. Tried to to copy files from my Samsung 850 Pro SSD which has 540 - 560 mb read speed, I know hard disk can't copy that fast but still 20 - 50 mb is ridiculous for a 7200 drive :(
Tried seq and 4k as you can see on the screen shot above.

Hey there again, vikbot!
This seems pretty frustrating for you! :( I'd suggest you use the WD Blues on another computer and check how they will behave and perform there.
I'd again advise you to perform both the QUICK and the EXTENDED tests. The latter could take some time, but after it has finished make sure you check the View SMART data button above the listed HDDs in the WD's Data LifeGuard Diagnostics utility, it will give you a more detailed result about the WD Blues' health and their SMART attributes.

Let us know how it goes.

Here what I got after running Extended test -
AUxGEBk.jpg

As you can see "Reallocated Sector Count = 1". Does that mean hard disk going to fail ? I have tried to connect the hard disk on a different computer but still same result. Look, I don't have problem if copy speed is slow but this "Reallocated Sector Count" is bothering me :( Kindly me tell me if I have to replace the drive with a new one
