Hi, I am building a new gaming rig and looking for some cool GPU's. I am planning to get an AMD card and an Nvidia card (they can work together without Nvidia using CPU PhysX using physX hybrid mod) The two cards are the R9290 Vapor X 4GB and the EVGA GTX 960 4GB) the only problem is that the 960 doesn't have an LED visualizer, if you know any really cool GPU's that have an LED visualizer please let me know. And ... I know this probably hasn't been attempted ... but do you think that if I added some sort of aftermarket product I could at least get the "EVGA GTX 960" sign to glow (anything to make it stand out) please let me know as well.

Thanks very much!

Why the AMD and Nvidia cards? they won't run together like crossfire/SLI. The only advantage you might get is PhysX for your AMD. You would be better not buying the 290 and get a 980Ti then. Or if you have the 290 already you only need like a 750 for PhysX.

You are completely right, if I where to get a 980 Ti it would probably be faster and maybe cheaper, and a lot easier to handle. But it's always nice to see people gasp at an awesome machine! : ) I know the 980Ti from EVGA also has an LED, but its a bit too expensive if I am going to buy the R9290 as well

Yes, it would definitely be a lot more wise to just get a normal SLI / Crossfire ... but the benchmarks for AMD and Nvidia cards together actually perform better than SLI / Crossfire

Thanks for suggestion!
