I've not used my laptop in a few weeks but today when I tried to power it up it did nothing.
There is no light at the power button and no light on the side where the charger plugs in, I've checked the charger and the battery and they're both fine.
Is there anything else I can try?

Any help much appreciated

It is fixable, and there are how to videos on Youtube, but you basically have to take it all apart. You could also take it in, but for something like that you might as well get a new laptop.

I tried that after checking on the forum, sadly it didn't work.

Bummer! I would guess that there is something wrong with the motherboard since the charger and battery are fine.
