I am helping out a local church and took over support of their Netgear WNR2500 router. The previous IT support setup the main wireless using WEP. I am trying to setup the guest wireless but it will only allow "NONE" for the security. Even the main wireless will only allow me to click and select WEP or NONE. I would like to be able to change the security option. I have the admin password. I have tried different browsers ( IE ( versions 7-11), Firefox and Chrome and nothing allows me to select the other security options on either the main or guest network security. The router has the latest firmware. Any ideas ??

I would try doing a hard (30-30-30) reset on it, as it should have WPA2 available.

With the power on, depress the reset button for 30 seconds;
While still depressing the reset button, unplug the router from power and continue to hold reset down for 30 more seconds;
With the reset button still depressed, reattach power to the router and hold for reset down for 30 more seconds.
