One PC is an Asus CM6730-08 (Intel i7 3770/16 GB) , and the other Cyberpower GUA890 (AMD FX 6100/8GB); both running windows 10 and my router/modem is an ARRIS SURFboard SBG6782AC, and my cable Internet is 20 Mbps. I use my PC for meetings and online courses and the other just for online games
I want something reliable, affordable and with min speed 450 Mbps, AC dual Band, BT and Win 10 compatible.
I will apreciate your recommendation.

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking, are you asking if it's possible to install the PCIe adapter yourself? In which case it is very easy. Orl, do you mean build your own adapter? This would be very difficult and involve a lot of knowledge in electronics, and I'm not sure it is even possible.

Also, it is very much recommended that you attach the antennas that are included with the adapter, as otherwise you wouldn't get a signal.

Any more questions feel free to ask.

Hi Rumple,

First of all, are you looking for a USB adapter or a PCI/PCIe adapter which slots into the motherboard? If you're after a PCI card, what slots do your motherboards have free, PCI or PCIe x1 for example.

A card which meets all of those requirements isn't very common, although I believe this is what you need:
Gigabyte GC-WB867D-I

Hope this helps.

Hi frantic6,
Yes, I am looking for PCIe x1 adapters.
1. Do you think, that could be worthy to buy adapters and mini-pcie cards and assemble them?
2. Would fits wifi antennas to the Gigabyte recommeded?
Thank you for your quick response.
