I just built a gaming computer and I was just wondering if I could use my computer that I had before as a second monitor, or if I could like link them so if I move my mouse to the right it would go to the other monitor/computer. And by the way my other computer does not have like a system box, everything is build like an iMac for example.

Sounds like your other computer is an "all-in-one".

The problem there is, they normally have "outputs" (HDMI etc), but no "input". It's essentially like trying to use a laptop as a second monitor - as far as I know, it can't be done.

You can usually attach a second display to either extend or duplicate FROM an all-in-one or laptop, but I don't believe there are any all-in-ones you could use as a second monitor. The exact make & model would be helpful to be 100% sure, but I'd say no.
