Depends on what you mean.
Playable max resolution- yes. due to the added performance
Max resolution - no. That is set by the single card capability.
Two 1gb cards in sli/cf still leaves you with a 1gb card, just a better performing 1gb card than what you had.

the max resolution will not boost but the performance at the max resolution will boost however if you want my opinion it is insane to make a tri 720p monitor display you should instead do a dual 1080p display
