Asus x99 deluxe won't post after diconnecting everything

Brand new build. Had trouble posting so I disconnected everything but the cpu, it's fan, and the post speaker but I get no beeps on startup. Does this sound like a DOA motherboard?

Should I reseat CPU? Would it matter?

Then if the CPU fan is spinning when starting the board with only CPU and CPU fan, then it's either the board, or the CPU. Try checking the CPU socket. See if any bent pin.

Intel core i7 5820k and yes that speaker is connected to the mobo

Went back and found what looks like 4 damaged pins, I think this may be it
