Urgent upgrade help needed

Hey there,
I currently have a evga gtx 970 ssclk+ 2.0, intel core i5 4570 3.2 Ghz, 8GB DDR3 ram, 2TB HDD.
I thought i may need to upgrade ma gtx 970 to gtx 980 ti. Is it a wise choice or wait for pascal???
I kind of feel future games may require more Vram and my card wont be able to play most demanding future games at 1080p on my 24" monitor... any suggestions????

You have a elligible gaming graphics card at the moment . Therefore it will server you well until Pascal comes. Waiting is the best choice here

So you have NO PROBLEMS right now? Everything runs fine? If so why would you upgrade? You said it yourself, better wait for pascal. I mean the gtx 970 does the job without a problem right now, don't throw it away. It can hold 1080p for the next 2 years without breaking a sweat.
