Hello, I recently built a computer witch a week later, would no longer post/output. So i contacted my motherboard manufacture (ASUS) and got an advanced rma (they send me a new board then i send them the old one when i get it) the only issue is, i swopped out the boards and it still didn't work, so i contacted intel and did the same process for the cpu. I know that the cpu is the issue (the onboard graphics to be precise). The thing i don't know is can i keep the motherboard that i had originally? TO avoid issues with windows being only on 1 motherboard, and the fact that it was brand new and the second i got wasn't is there any way i can keep it? Can i contact ASUS and ask them if I can return the one that they sent me? Any help with this would be great. Im sure someone has been through this before. Thanks!

If they sent you a new rma motherboard replacement, even if it is the same model yes you do have to keep it.
All motherboard manufacturers are like that, what you paid for is what they give you.
Unless they don't have it or something is wrong with that motherboard chipset.
If they asked you for your original during the rma process you need to fillfull your end of the deal.
Now if they "DID" not ask you for it when they told you by phone call or email support.
Don't bother with contacting them, if your not happy with motherboard but both items work.
You could sell them on amazon/ebay or that neighbor across the street and make your money back...
If they sent you a new replacement board, and nothing is faulty with it or so they say.
You will have no choice but to keep that with the warrenty they included for it.
If your still having issues, contact tier 3 with asus if they cannot seem to fix it.

Even after sending a new one I highly advise you stop using them and use a different brand.
Asrock or Gigabyte is what I recommend the most for intel users like you.
Which motherboard do you use and which cpu/socket type do you have right now ?

So your saying that I have no choice but to keep the new one they sent and send them my original one back? I have an I7-6700k so lga 1151 socket. Although i don't see myself getting a new motherboard any time soon.

If your not choosy with motherboard specs, that would be a great way to start off with.
