I just built a skylake and installed a Gigabyte GC‑WB867D‑I pci-e card. It keeps dropping the WiFi connection every few minutes and will automatically reconnect. I've tried uninstalling and updating drivers (using drivers from gigabyte's site), changing power settings in device manager. My other devices are not experiencing this issue. I've also checked my router settings and changed the channels, made sure it was on 2.4/5 mixed mode. Thank you for any advice and help you can offer!

I'm assuming it drops the connection regardless of what you're doing, yes? Are you having any other issues with the rig as far as like USB ports or anything like that?
Yeah, it seems to happen regardless of of I'm just surfing or downloading or just idling. No issues with other USB ports. I connected a USB WiFi adapter and that one works fine. I'll try remounting it to the motherboard tonight (but it seems like if it's a mounting issue it would have trouble connecting at all).

Well, that's why I asked about the USB ports and things working. Considering what you've done to resolve the issue, it sounds like it's the card. If you have a warranty on it, I would RMA it.
