Hi so I bought a seasonic s12ii 620w psu and with the box came the 8pin 12v atx cable however it was not connected to the psu itself and I need it for my mobo I do have 2x4 cables but the pins shape inside each other are abit different so im not sure if I can use that what should I do?

It did state at the botton the specs would change without prior notice in this case 4/8 pin connector alongside in the box a seperate 8pin in side each the shapes are different which one should I use? P.s sorry for asking silly questions im still new too pc building
