Hello, I have been running my 2x4GB stick in computer and I had my another ram laying (2x2GB) so I added them in. 2X4GB are running in White slot and 2X2GB in Blue one. The problem is, that BIOS is showing them in different channels (sorry for the quality):

Thank you for any help.

Branded computers sometimes have weird ways to manage these things. Maybe the color code doesn't mean anything and they might be ordered sequentially. The best you can do is to try putting them in a different order and see how the computer detects them. However, you should check this with AIDA64 or other software to make sure if it's not really running in dual channel. The bios in this case, means nothing as HP does whatever they want with it and don't stick to standards.

In the end, dual channel makes little to NO difference in performance, unless you are using a large server and only in specific case scenarios.
