Hello!
I am looking for a mouse with onboard memory that can hold custom Macros. I'd like to have the mouse hold phrases, such as "blahblahblah has done this on account and then this"

This mouse is going to be used on my WORK computer, that has NO ability to install anything. I do have a personal computer i can set the mouse up on, but wont be able to install any macro programs on my work computer.

I have NO idea how to find this mouse, nor what to search and i am requesting some help. It can be wired or wireless, the more buttons the better, price isnt a HUGE issue but would prefer a cheaper option.

Well, this is definitely a great option, except i dont really need a mouse with exceptional DPI, im just doing office work mainly, and this is FOR SURE something i can use on my work PC without installing ANYTHING?! It will install the mouse a HID most likely. So as long as i set it up on my personal computer, load all the settings ONTO onboard mouse memory, then all is good?

Razer mice aren't made with on board memory since 2013 so you should probably avoid them. I was using CM Storm Reaper for a while and can confirm that it works on both my computers without driver software. You download it once, then program it to your liking, save the settings to the on board memory and it works as intended on any computer.

Update on the situation
Got the mouse today, the SAME day customer service at logitech tells me that i NEED to have the software installed on any computer that needs to do text block macros. She then went one step further to say all their mice are the same way. I'm hoping shes just talking about current generation.
I cant believe that its so difficult to program a textblock and have it stay on the onboard memory to be used on computers that do not have the software installed.
I'm concerned now for other logitech models including the G600, would there be a limit to how many characters i used?
Any more ideas?

Thanks so much for helping me out man, im a little bummed my mouse options wont work. So i'll give up on mice going forward for this request.
I definitely could code myself a keyboard with an arduino, but im not super savvy in that area so it would take me longer than i'd like.

Do you know of any keyboards that have the same functionality im looking for?

Is there some sort of third party perpifpheral i could use for what im looking for?
