Hi all

I have an iPad Mini and just purchased a USB 3 enclosure for my old SanDisk SSD which I have formatted to exFAT. SSD works fine and iPad has the latest iOS.

What's the best way to view the content (picture files, movie files, spreadsheets) on the iPad on the fly? Something that can be quickly connected. I've had a quick search and there seems multiple ways of doing it by purchasing Lightning to USB camera adapters and powered USB hubs, but if there's a method which can be done ideally without mains power, or maybe wirelessly? Having an Internet connection at the same time as viewing the content isn't a necessity.

Regards

As far as I know I think you'll need a hard drive with an external lightning port to connect to the iPad, or whatever the corresponding port is on your iPad model. Best way to view content on the fly is by downloading an app called AV Player HD which I use regularly to watch content on.Great little app.
If you want to do a wireless bluetooth HDD connection, I think you'll need a specialist device to do that.
