I'm currently running Windows 10.
Graphics card is ASUS GeForce GTX950 and psu is a Rosewill Valens 600W.
Graphics card: http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=N82E16814121980
Psu: http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=N82E16817182330
Whenever I turn on my computer I am prompted to select the boot device and the only option I am given to select is my CD/DVD drive for booting. Once I do that it tells me there's "no bootable device". I plugged and unplugged everything in 2 or 3 times over now and the problem still persists. I also tried to press different combinations of either F2, F8, F12 or escape but haven't been able to get to the bios(unsure on the name) menu to change my boot device to the hard drive but nothing happens upon pressing these keys. I appreciate all the help I can get!

Your links are just redirecting to the Newegg Flash website... looks like you're posting from mobile, that may be the issue.

Do you see a splash screen for the motherboard? What make/model is the motherboard? For example, I have an MSI and it's either Delete or F11 to enter the BIOS setup. But you should be seeing a splash screen that tells you what to hit.

Either way, if you're not seeing your boot disk on the boot device list, sounds like the mobo isn't seeing it. Check the SATA power connectors on the power supply end and the hard drive end. Also check the SATA data cable on the hard drive end and the mobo end. Plug in a different hard drive if you have one around and see if it's recognized.

Yes I am posting from mobile. My motherboard is MSI as well, I've tried F12 and delete but possibly not F11 for getting to BIOS setup. The sata power and data cables are all connected from the psu to the hard drive and the hard drive to the motherboard. What do you mean by the mobo end? I'm not entirely familiar with all the computer jargon.

UPDATE: F11 was indeed the key for BIOS startup but I am now unsure how to proceed in the blue startup screen.

F11 on MSI gets you to the Boot Select Menu which allows you to override the default boot order for just the current boot cycle.

DEL will get you into the BIOS where you can change the default Boot Order.

I just meant that you should check that the SATA cables were connected on both ends (motherboard and hard drive). Sounds like you double checked that.

Hard to know how to change boot order without knowing the model of the motherboard, but it may be buried in settings > boot or system > boot sequence. Just look around in the BIOS, you'll find it. Then just reorder the devices to put your Windows 10 drive first.

If you can, try plugging that drive into another computer and see if it's recognized. This would eliminate drive failure as a possibility.
