Broke desktop; need laptop asap

So my desktop fried that I use for gaming and cad design; I've been saving up for an rog but now I just need a laptop
The cheapest thing that can run solid works and game at decent fr and quality...
I would prefer none touch screen and no more smaller then 15 and bigger and 17.5. With a decent quality screen.

The lowest real gaming video card would be the 960m class, about $1,000 range for a decent system. Will run many new games at Medium or so. For the more demanding or funky coded games like ARK where even good systems have lower frame rates, you'd want a 970m to run on Medium with decent frame rates. Really anything with that video card would be decent, I don't know any reviews of screen quality off-hand myself.
