hi people of the internet,just thought id ask for you opinion on the alienware alpha(not the steam os version).i would like to buy a pc thats good enough for csgo mostly but heres the thing i want it to be small. smaller then a console and dont say build a pc and thats it because its cheaper i want to know ur reason other then money

Any prebuilt is going to be limited one way or another, or use sub-par components, except for the stupid expensive boutique builds. There are a couple Mini-itx cases, about the size of a console. That Asus is better, but don't be fooled by the i7 part. That model is just a mobile dual core part, with hyperthreading. The 750ti would be enough for CSGO, and would play most other games on low to medium settings. Again, no real upgrade potential here. Once that GPU is unable to handle your games, the whole unit is basically useless.

I am going to say build your own. Those alienware units have limited to no upgrade potential. They also use slower mobile based parts, for graphics, so once the GPU is too slow for what you want to do, you may as well just throw it away, and get a new system, where as a good CPU can withstand a couple GPU upgrades, typically. I have had a few different ones with my 3570k.
