I have a Samsung galaxy note 3 with over 1,000 photos I'd like to backup to my pc. looking for an easy way to do that. When I connect phone to pc via USB my computer does not see anything on the phone just sees a camera and opens an empty folder. I have been blindly trying apps from playstore but no luck, I'm wondering if there's a way to use my phone to access the shared docs folder on my computers wireless network and possibly just drag and drop? I mean i just wanna back up photos why is it so difficult? Tell me what I'm doing wrong. Pls ty

Alternatively, if the pics are on a memory card, remove it from the phone and put it in to a card reader connected to your PC (card readers are inexpensive and available at any good PC accessories or camera shop, but lowest prices are online such as Amazon).
I would advise you to back up your mobile photos long before it gets to 1,000 in future. That's an awful lot of pics to lose if the memory card were to become corrupted!
