This is my second build, I have had it roughly 10 months and I keep getting random restarts.
I have disable automatic restart on error yet it still is restarting with no BSOD, and the event log is showing a Kernel-Power Event ID 41 Task Category 63 as the title suggests.
My build is:
MOBO: ASUS Maximus VII Gene
CPU: Intel 4790k Devils Canyon - not overclocked
GPU: NVIDIA EVGA GeForce GTX-960 - not overclocked
RAM: 2x4(8GB) Corsair Dominator Platinum
PSU: Corsair AX860i Modular
Case: NZXT H440
Fans: Stock with case
Additional Cooling: Kraken x61 AIO
Storage: Mushkin Enhanced Chronos 2.5" 240GB (SSD) and a 1TB HDD (forgot make and model)
When its happening:
While Gaming. (CS:GO, Dirty Bomb, and just now Door Kickers are the ones that have triggered it)
What I have tried so far:
This was happening when I had a refurbished TX850 PSU and a much smaller case and water cooler so I upgraded to the H440, x61 and AX860i hoping that would solve the issue, a few hundred dollars later ( I dont regret because I wanted these upgrades anyways ) it is still happening.
I have run MemTest 86 to test the RAM and all checked out.
I have disconnected my cases reset switch, I read on another thread that that may be the cause.
There may have been other things I have tried too, but those are what I remember.
I am now lost, and not sure what the cause is or what to do next. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
