ATH-M50X ear pads?

Hello,

I am looking at the ATH-M50X and I have seen reviews that say that the ear pads sit on the ear and not fully around the ear? Can anyone tell me if this is true?

The M50X seems to be advertised as Over-ears in all the reviews I've seen, so it's very likely that it's over-ears (Unless you somehow have extremely large ears).
