So i recently upgraded my hd 7870 to gtx 970,i wanted better performance than a console so i made the jump. However, soon enough i realised that my gtx 970 was getting bottlenecked by my fx 6350,making me unable to game at solid 60fps without dropping my settings. But i really don't mind gaming at 30fps,i play GTA 5 on ultra settings at 1080p 30fps without msaa.So my main question is:1) Is it worth going to intel's side?2) Would it get me better performance on ultra settings?
My specs are:
CPU:FX 6350
GPU:GTX 970 FTW
RAM:2x8 DDR3 1866mhz
MOBO:M5A97 R2.0

Solution
1) Yes, atm Intel is WAY ahead in the CPU market. There is no comparison between AMD and Intel when it comes to high-end performance/efficiency. However, see my * for more info about AMDs future CPU coming this year and why jumping to buy one now may not be the best idea.

2) Maybe not. remember - CPUs aren't really used much when it comes to high-end gaming performance. The only games that really rely on the CPU are ones that use any Physics (E.g. Sc2 ragdoll animations). And even then, your FX should be able to handle it. Aside from that, its duties are to load your game, keep your internet tabs rolling, and perform a real-time protection scan of your dodgy porn files.

*I am in a similar situation, however I am further worried by the release of AMDs new Zen CPU architecture. If you are planning on upgrading - holding off until it is released may prove fruitful (lower i3/5/7 prices & more CPU upgrade choice). I'll let you know what consensus I reach :)

Hmm,my current budget now is around 200$ (euros),i've heard a lot about some new GPUs like AMD Polaris and Nvidia Pascal, and i thought that i can buy a new GPU instead of buying a new CPU+Mobo.Plus,my budget will be better than this. :) So i will have enough money to afford both GPU and CPU+Mobo.

You would get much more performance per dollar by upgrading to an FX-8350 because it uses the same socket. I have an R9 390x with an FX-8350 and can get 60 fps @1080p Maximum settings so you should be able to get over 60 fps in most games and in the 40's range in GTA 5.
Here in the US, I can get a used FX-8350 chip for $100 or a new one for $150 USD. The cost of getting an i5 4790k is around $329.99 USD, and a nice motherboard is going to cost around $149.99 USD, which is significantly more than just upgrading to an FX-8350.

How much have you overclocked your CPU? A good enough CPU cooler is cheapish (less than $50), and you have a decent motherboard. Overclock that puppy to 4.5Ghz, if you can, and see what that does. Only THEN think about an upgrade. The AMD chips sold today NEED a robust to get the best value out of them

For gaming, a FX8?? is little better than what you have.
