So ive put my first build together finally and ive run into a handful of issues... i first ran into a DOA motherboard so returned it for a new one. got the new one and breadboarded everything first. connected the PSU , MOBO, and CPU, everything powered on like i hoped... But upon going through the checklist that i have gone over so many times now. i realize that with no RAM in my mobo i get no BEEPS at all. From what ive read i should be getting some kind of beeps letting me know of my ram not inserted. (my lenovo makes beeps when the ram is out) so im kind of lost now. do i have a bad motherboard again? is my motherboard is "quiet mode"? I also proceeded to install my GPU to see if that would power up but it didnt. so i grew very concerned and took it to my local computer store. it took them 9 days to finally call me and tell me that my graphics card was bad somehow and they said nothing to me of my motherboard not beeping with no ram etc. so i was left with no real answer from them other then to just return all of what i got and start over... so now i have sent an RMA form in for my graphics card and am wondering do i need to send back my motherboard and possibly CPU and PSU? Any help is greatly greatly appreciated. Im learning it all myself through my own research and i feel im hitting a road block and the computer store did nothing for me. so here i am...Thank you again.

Id also like to add that i have a R9 255 card that came in my prebuilt that i also tried to connect to my new build and the card itself shows the fan spinning but it shows nothing on the monitor.

everything is brand new except my GPU that i used in my prebuilt lenovo for 3 months

You won't get any beeps if you do not have a case speaker hooked up. I do not believe your board has a built in speaker.

Ok i could always return the PSU for a better one... That's why i went for the 8320e though cause of the lower power consumption but i guess maybe the 500 isnt enough? Or its bad brand new? Im in the process of waiting for my RMA on my GPU so ill have that, but the fact that i am not hearing any beeps means something IS wrong with my PSU, Motherboard, or CPU? My CPU fan is running, Motherboard is on, and i can subtle hear the PSU fan as well. My buddy was telling me that not all boards beep so im not sure... Again all the help is greatly appreciated.
